Sony Ericsson is India’s as well as world’s one of the most famous handset brand.

A new application which will let users find out what’s happening and how to find it, wherever they are, is to be loaded on to all of Sony Ericsson’s new 8.1-megapixel Cyber-shot C905 phones. A company called ‘Mobile Commerce’ has come up with the innovative ‘NearMe’ application which will also be available to download onto the GPS-enabled C702 Cyber-shot and W760 Walkman handsets.

Features

1) It will provide users with detailed information on local businesses, facilities, and events, all based on their current location using the GPS capabilities of the user’s handset.

2) It will include details about listings for cinemas, clubs and gigs and with venues for food and drink.

3) The details that are retrieved are always up-to-the-minute. Full addresses and contact numbers come attached to each recommendation and listing

4) Detailed information such as film reviews, costs and show times is also available

5) If you’ve decided where your big night’s action is going to take place, there is even a map to show you exactly how to get there.

Let’s hope, this technology introduced in these selected handsets may get clicked, and may rule as well as may help to rule the mobile world for the Sony Ericsson for a long long period……
