New Audi R8 Released in India
Audi R8,the Winner of 2008 ‘World Performance Car’ and the ‘World Car Design of the Year’ awards is launched in india last week.Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer, launched Audi R8, the exclusive, mid-engine super sports car with a high degree of day-to-day drivability.
Audi launched R8 in indian market as the response they got from their customers. The aluminium construction lightweight screamer features a mid-mounted petrol 4.2-litre V8 FSI engine, and is directly related to the German car maker’s Le Mans winning race cars. The 414bhp allwheel drive sports car with looks to kill for will now be seen on Indian streets too.The Audi R8 4.2 V8-FSI is equipped with an engine displacement of 4,163 cc, a power output of 309 kW at 7,800 rpm and a maximum torque 430 Nm between 4,500 and 6,000 rpm. The Audi R8 can attain a top speed of 301 km/h with 0-100 km/h in impressive 4.6 seconds.
The exterior and interior of Audi R8 was very stylish that offers the feel of a luxurious sports car with exclusive equipment coupled with a wide variety of customized interior options.The car has been priced at Rs 1.17 crore, exshowroom Delhi. Amazingly, the fifteen Audi R8′s allocated to India this year have already been pre-sold.
