AMD released ATI Radeon E4690 Embeded GPU
ATI Radeon E4690 is not just a standalone Graphics card, but will be embeded on motherboard to reduce space, power consumption and price. According to AMD E4690 GPU is capable of providing triple performance than its predecessors and has been designed to provide fast graphics and HD video capabilities to enhance the appeal of applications such as arcade, casino, digital signage and more.
ATI Radeon E4690 GPU features AMD Unified Video Decoder(UVD 2.0) for hardware acceleration of HD, MPEG-2 and multiple HD video streams, a 512MB of on-chip memory, GPU speed of upto 600MHz, a total of 320 shader processing units, 128-bit GDDR3 memory clocked at a maximum of 700MHz and support for Microsoft’s DirectX 10.1 and OpenGL 3.0.
