Total Number Of Websites Over The Internet
Recently Netcraft conducted a survey across the web, and the results shows that the total number of websites over the internet is about 239,611,111 sites. Below is the chart released by Netcraft.
In this chat they say the number of hostnames is 239,611,111 and active site is about 75,000,000. That is the rest hostnames are just being registered for domain reselling or domain auctions.
