Transcend has launched its all new 192 GB high-speed SSD
Transcend has launched its all new 192 GB high-speed SSD in India. The new solid state drive (SSD) packed with NAND flash memory is a 2.5 inch drive.
It features full SATA II compatibility and high-speed transfer rate. The Transcend MLC equipped SSD reads at the speed of 150 MB per second and writes at the speed of 90 MB per second.
It has virtually non-existent 0.2ms of latency which enables the computer systems equipped with this SSD to boot up faster, claims Transcend. Also, the systems get adept to run applications like games smoothly plus there is an improvement in the overall system responsiveness.
The 192 GB SSD is also resistant to mechanical failure caused due to vibration, shock or heat. Its technical specifications include non-volatile flash memory for exceptional data retention, built-in Error Correction Code (ECC) functionality and wear-leveling technology for long life and long-term reliability. It also claims to consume less power.
The Transcend 192 GB high-speed 2.5 inch SSD is backed by a 2 year warranty and is available in the Indian market for a price of Rs. 37,000 at Transcend distributors – Supertron, Mediaman and Bharti Teletech.
