Official YouTube Mobile App Version 2.4
The official Google Mobile blog cites the release of the latest version of the YouTube Mobile app, version 2.4.
Tailored for Windows Mobile and Nokia S60 phones, this new app should allow users to search and play videos effortlessly on their smartphone. Bundled with features like search query suggestions and ‘My Account’ support, it also sports a novel homescreen user interface optimized for large screens.
Users logging into their YouTube account on their mobile device can now see their favorites, subscriptions and playlists irrespective of their location thanks to the ‘My Account’ feature. Typing in to the YouTube search box will further enable them to gain relevant suggestions. The function should help save the effort of typing via the phone which can be quite a task with certain handsets.
Users can download this app by visiting m.youtube.com/app in their phone’s browser. Well, we can already see video enthusiasts grinning from ear to ear.
