HTC Prepares for the BIG – 1080p Video Recording, 5.1 Audio and a Tablet
At a press conference, HTC shared a bit of what they’re planning for next year. It is hi-fi AV, fast Internet and a tablet. Android will be the tablet’s OS. By the second quarter of next year they plan to introduce phones capable of shooting 1080p video.
HTC also plans to incorporate 5.1 channel audio in mobile handsets. HTC will be working with Yamaha to achieve the 5.1 channel audio sonic experience. By the end of the year 14.4Mbps HSPA+ connectivity could be incorporated as well.
And about the tablet, the uncertainty remains. Only available information is that what ever the device will be the OS will be Android. Lets wait and see.
