Sony launched ‘Dash’
Sony’s Dash is tablet like device like ipad ,tablet. The main advantage of sony dash than the iPad is that it does not run on an OS. It can able to access over 1,500 free Internet apps, including news, calendars, weather, sports, social networking . The new product offers free access to all apps from a software company called Chumby Industries, Inc. as well as the robust audio and video content from Sony’s Bravia™ Internet video platform, including YouTube, Pandora, Internet radio.
Viewing photos in dash will be a great experience. The Sony Dash will upload and display photos from various online photo sites via USB. The touch screen user interface allows you to set special effects, rotate and zoom photos, and play photo slide shows.
Another advantage of dash is that it doesn’t need to worry about the booting time because it will always be on.
It also does multi tasking, that is you can work in internet while playing an audio file. The users can able to download application from the internet and use it. As moving forward new applications will be developed.
Sony’s dash will be available this April for about $199.
