BMW X1 to be launched in India by dec 2010
Bmw will launch its compact yet stylish suv bmw x1 in india by the end of 2010. It would be launched in petrol and deisel variants and will be priced around Rs 2500000 which is a resonable price for a bmw suv. The company plans to market 500 units a year. it will be made on 3 series platform in the chennai plant of the company.

It convincingly perpetuates the success story of BMW in India.” in the occasion of unveiling of X1 in geneva auto show 2010.
it is expected to become a best-seller in its segment becuse of its stylish features and performance. Exterior features like V-shaped alloy wheels, body colored door handles, chrome finished exhaust pipe, heated and automatic adjustable ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors), chrome-line exterior trim, satin aluminium roof rails, etc.
The interior of bwm x1 is stylish with its ambient lighting, front armrest with sliding adjustment, velour floor mats, illuminated glove compartment, illuminated for vanity mirrors, satin silver interior trim, etc.
The company doesnot compromise in saftey features equipped like ABS (Antilock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brake-Force Distribution), dual front airbags and side ITS head airbags, alarm system with remote control and engine immobilizer, front and rear anti roll bars, central locking, child lock, crash sensor, front and rear fog lamps, halogen headlamps, front and rear seat belts with pretensioner and belt force limiter, side impact protection and many more features.
