New Sedan from Volkswagen named Vento

It is believed that Volkswaen will launch the Vento in India on the 6th of July. Vento is likely to start above Rs 7 lakh and will compete in the lucrative A3 segment in the Indian market. Notably, the car will be assembled in Volkswagen’s plant in Chakan, Pune.

Volkswagen Vento is a Sedan in C+ segment powered with 1598cc, 4 Cylinder, 8 Valve Petrol Engine. The engine is capable of delivering a Maximum Power of 105 Bhp and Maximum Torque 158 Nm.

Kawasaki Z750 Coming To India

Kawasaki India will introduce its new Kawasaki Z750 in Indian market soon. Kawasaki Z750 is expected to hit Indian roads by September 2010 with a price tag of around Rs. 7 Lakh. Kawasaki Z750 is powered by 748cc 4-stroke In-Line 4 Engine.

Corolla Altis Diesel Enters Indian market

Toyota is ready to launch its diesel variant of Corolla Altis to the Indian market. Corolla Altis is a Sedan in D Segment from Toyota. Toyota Corolla Altis id powered by a 2500 cc , CRDi engine.

Toyota Corolla Altis Diesel looks attractive with newly designed crystal head lamps, new designed grill with turn indicator on side mirrors. The car enters Indian market with a big bang. In addition to the above features it is complemented with remote fuel filler, body color bumpers, rear defogger and ORVM indicators.

Toyota Corolla Altis Diesel comes with automatic climate control system, centralized locking rear arm rest with cup holder and all doors power windows on its inside. The car is fitted with 1.4 liter turbocharged diesel engine which crackles about 90 to 100bhp. It also includes CDRI diesel engine, 6 speeds Manual Transmission and Fuel Efficiency of 21 KMPL .

The price allocated to the new Altis Diesel will come in three different slabs which is yet to be decided. It is expected that price will fall between Rs 11 lakh to 14.5 lakh.

Kia Cars coming to Indian Markets

Kia, part of the Hyundai’s small car ally plans to enter India. Kia is one of the largest car maker in the world selling 16 lakh vehicles per annum across the globe through its cars produced in 14 plants that too located in major markets like the Germany, Australia, China and US.

Kia feels that the auto market in India is promising these years than 4 years back when it attempted to enter but withdrew due to sluggish sales of cars. In order to understand the Indian auto market intensely, the South Korean maker has given this job to a global consultancy to conduct product clinics so as to test its cars on Indian roads.

Kia is more confident on Indian market because of Hyundai’s success in the country. Being the second largest car maker in India, Hyundai sold more than 42000 cars in May 2010. Hyundai has also achieved massive milestones in exporting its cars from its Chennai manufacturing plant.
