After N, E and X series, Nokia announced a new handset “NOKIA C6” of new C series. The C6 is a well-featured packed device with a QWERTY style keyboard. It may resemble with the recent touch screen devices of Nokia, the difference is that it not only rely on touch display for data entry but also with the addition of a slide out keyboard. Data entry should not be an issue now because the keys on QWERTY keyboard are of enough size. The size of Nokia C6 is 113 x 53 x 17mm, weight (with battery) is 150g and the volume is 80cc. The TFT resistive touch screen of size 3.2 inches supports upto 16.7 million colors with a pixel resolution of 360 x 640.

Nokia C6 runs on S60 operating system with ARM 11 434 MHz processor. The device provides a full support for messaging and you can also assimilate with your contacts through a variety of social media platforms like Yahoo Messenger, Google Talk, Windows Live Messenger etc. The C6 offers Bluethooth (v2.0 with A2DP), USB (v2.0 microUSB), 3G data options, and quad band HSPA, with download speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps and upload speeds of 5.76 Mbps available and supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g.

The handset includes a 5.0 mega pixels (2592 x 1944 pixels) camera, with autofocus and LED flash. From setting menu geo tagging, face and smile detection can also be controlled. Video recording (VGA@30fps) and front facing camera is also enabled for face to face video calls.

The device offers 200MB internal memory which can be enhanced by micro SD memory card, C6 supports upto 16 GB in size. It also offers unlimited entries and fields for phonebook.

The C6 includes a media player that supports MP3, WMA, AAC, eAAC+, WMV and MP4 players, plus a stereo FM radio with RDS also included. The handset is available in either white or black color.
