Update : Maruti Suzuki Launches The All New Swift 2011
Maruti Swift is one among the few most successful model models in India. The new model of Maruti Suzuki Swift 2011 has been promised by the company in the mid 2011. Latest reports are the new Maruti Suzuki Swift 2011 will be ready for launch on October.
The new Swift does not show much of a difference from the current model at first glance. The new Swift is now bigger in dimensions with 90mm in length, 5mm in width and 10mm in height increments done. The wheelbase has been stretched by 50mm and the inclination for the roof has got a decline. The headlamp and tail lamps have been peeled back a little bit more on the new Swift.
The interiors are now classy and carry excellent finish and are of top notch quality. New sporty looking dials, a chunky steering wheel, European design based dashboard and a re-designed instrument panel affirm you of the changes brought to the new 2011 Swift. Other note-worthy features for the new Swift include built in a retractable screen, automatic climate control, Bluetooth, and a USB port.
I like the new Swift more than Swift Dzire with that odd box-shape look! I had expected a lot more from Kizashi but it failed terribly to meet my expectations in terms of styling cues, though it gives you almost everything under the sun… but then if you spend another 4lakhs u get fully loaded Honda Accord that is a million times better than the Kizashi crossover!
THE KIZASHI FAILED IN JAPAN AND CHINA. IT IS A FAILED DESIGN WITHOUT MUCH SUCESS. EVEN ABOUT THE NEW SWIFT, SUZUKI IS KEEPING THINGS CLOSE TO ITS CHEST. WILL IT HAVE THE SAME FEATURES THAT THE NEW SWIFT HAS IN THE WEST. WHAT ARE THE CAR’S FEATURES IN INDIA. WILL SUZUKI OPEN HIS MOUTH. OR SHOULD WE FILE AN APPLICATION UNDER THE RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT FROM GOVT OF INDIA, SINCE THE GOVT H AS STAKE IN THE COMPANY THEREBY BRINGING IT UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE ACT.

Dont get fooled by these images. What we are getting in India is a toned down version of the maruti suzuki swfit. Here is the list of things that is not making to India. 1)Bluetooth 2)Cruse control, 3)60:40 rear split seat, 4)ESP, 5)Push button start, 6)curtain airbags, 7)16 inch alloy wheels
