Magadheera – Greatest Hit in the Telugu Film Industry, may remake in Bollywood

Magadheera is a Telugu film directed by S.S. Rajamouli and produced by Allu Aravind. Ram Charan Teja plays the lead role along with Kajal Aggarwal while actors Srihari and Dev Gill play other prominent roles. Ram Charan Teja is the son of veteran actor Chiranjeevi. Magadheera is the highest budgeted Telugu film ever taken with a budget of Rs.40 crores ($10 Million) With a gross collection above Rs 120 crores ($30 Million), the highest for a Telugu movie.

Magadheera is the second film of Ram Charan Teja. It gave him a very good starting for his career. His first film was Chirutha, which gave him 3 awards. His upcoming movie is Orange. Orange is a romantic comedy film directed by Bhaskar. Its filming is in progress. The movie which is due to hit the screens in 2010, will see Teja with Genelia D’Souza.

We can expect a remake of Magadheera in Hindi. In an interview with Ram Charan Teja, he said

“I did get the offer to remake Magadheera in Hindi by the same producers as Ghajini, but I turned it down because I don’t see myself recreating what I have already done, and if the director is not the same, the next director can mess it up.”

According to the sources, the Hindi remake will have Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan in lead roles. Reportedly, Hrithik Roshan may enact the role of overpoweringly gigantic warrior and Aamir Khan as the reincarnated man. The remake version is set to be produced at a big sum of Rs.80Crores.

Yamaha FZ16 launched

The all new macho street fighter – Yamaha FZ 16 has been launched by Yamaha Motors,India last day.FZ16 is a taut, muscular adrenaline pumping machine. The bike is designed and engineered with the potential for active and even aggressive enjoyment for its riders,due to revolutionize the biking scene in the country . The bike boasts of a 153cc air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder high torque engine for active city riding. The single-axis balancer reduces vibration for more comfortable riding. A negative pressure type Φ26mm carburetor with TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) contributes to outstanding engine response on the FZ16. The placement of this model’s ‘MidShip Muffler’ is toward the centre of the machine to achieve good concentration of mass, exhaust efficiency and handling. While 5-speed transmission provides a smooth operational touch, the gear ratios are set to provide optimum performance and agility in city riding.

Running performance and handling of the bike is ensured by A Monocross suspension. At the same time it inhibits machine bottoming while riding with a tandem passenger and provides a very comfortable ride. The front suspension is 41 mm thick, besides good absorption of shocks from the road, this suspension also provides good damping characteristics during acceleration and braking.

FZ 16 also has India’s first “140/60-17″ size rear radial with a 60% aspect ratio contributes to bettergrip and handling stability. To achieve sufficient cooling effect, the cylinder head on the FZ16 engine is designed with especially large fins as well as a shroud (air intake cowl) to effectively direct airflow to the engine.

It is being offered in 3 colours – Lava Red, Midnight Black and Flaming Orange and is priced at Rs. 65,000 ex showroom (all India).I think this is the one that will rule the indian roads.

Vaaranam Aayiram Audio Launch on September 24th

The audio of Vaaranam Aayiram is being launched on September 24th at Sathyam Cinemas”, says a spokesperson of Photon Factory, one of the producers of the film. Sony-BMG, has signed a record deal with producer V. Ravichandran for the audio rights of this Surya starrer. 

It is the most awaited audio in recent times and is Harris 26th album. Those who heard the numbers from the album say that the songs rock. Harris is in splendid form especially the retro 60′s type songMundhinam Parthene… picturised on Surya and Simran and the song Adiye Kolluthey.. both potential chartbusters. These two songs will be premiered at the audio launch and all the cast and crew of the film will be present at the function. 

Says Harris: ” I share a great rapport with Gautham. A music director and director must have great chemistry if good songs have to evolve and Vaaranam Aayiram numbers are picturised beautifully by Gautham”.

After designing a Bond car and thousands of other designer car for the style conscious, renowned car designer Dilip Chhabria of DC Designs officially unveiled his super luxury concept car dubbed Ambierod on January 10, 2008 at the Auto Expo in New Delhi. The Ambierod design takes its inspiration from the design of the oldest Ambassador. If it goes into production, it’s expected to come in Rs 4 crore (US $1 million) price range. Ambierod is the most expensive designed car ever been showcased at the Auto Expo.

The luxury car is to be equipped with an automated instrumental panel backed by satellite navigation system, rear vision camera, three LCD televisions, internet and videoconferencing-enabled flat bed and multi-coloured mood lighting. It’s being hyped as an intelligent, retro-futuristic car that has been designed from the iconic Ambassdor.

Other than the Ambierod, DC Designs will also roll out a sports car under its own brand. The DC sports car range would be christened ‘S’ and will carry a price tag of Rs 25 lakh (US $63,635). The engines, transmission, suspension and the brake system would be sourced from various global manufacturers. The ‘S’ sports car will bear the DNA of a Ferrari or Lamborghini with comparable supercar performance and offer 0-100 kmph in 3.7 seconds. It looks like the custom-design vehicle market is experiencing a speedily escalating boom in India.

I am all impressed with the device’s design and performance.It’s got a piano black glossy finish on the front and diamond cut texture engraved rear cover. The front also sports a silver lining at the bottom and a user-friendly navigation ring. Its really very surprise that Fernando Alonso had got the success in a formula 1 race.It is not because that he had funished in the first place. it is because he had finished first from the 15 th place.Its really surprise right? We know in this season he hadn’t succeeded in any of the races. But now He had done it…..Its his party today………

Renault’s Fernando Alonso scored a surprise success just when he most needed it, in one of the most eagerly anticipated Grand Prix in Formula One history, under the lights of Singapore on Sunday. And he owed much of it to team mate Nelson Piquet, whose crash on the 14th lap changed the face of the race.

Ferrari’s Felipe Massa led from pole position from McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Raikkonen in the second Ferrari, and Alonso dropped way back when he was the first to stop as the result of an aggressive opening stint. Then Piquet had his shunt and out came the safety car. Fourth-placed Robert Kubica for BMW Sauber and Williams’ Nico Rosberg both pitted before the pit lane was officially opened, and when it was on the 17th lap, Massa’s race fell apart as he led Hamilton, Raikkonen, Toro Rosso’s Sebastian Vettel and Toyota’s Timo Glock.

The green light within his cockpit told Massa he could restart, but the refuelling hose was still attached to his car. He knocked over a mechanic as the hose tore away, and fuel spewed everywhere. Subsequently he was given a drive-through penalty for another unsafe exit in front of the Force India of Adrian Sutil.

Kubica and Rosberg were given 10-second stop-and-go penalties. The Pole’s ruined his race, but Rosberg was able to keep in play even after serving his. In the pit stop shuffle Hamilton got delayed running behind Alonso, Rosberg, Toyota’s Jarno Trulli, Giancarlo Fisichella (who had started from the pit lane after set-up changes on his Force India), and Mark Webber and David Coulthard in the Red Bulls. Eventually the British driver moved up to fourth behind Alonso, Rosberg and Coulthard, but he was losing a second a lap behind the Scot, and that was where his chance of winning evaporated.

Not even a second safety-car period, on the 51st lap after Massa spun and an unsighted Sutil crashed, could throw him a lifeline, but with Raikkonen crashing while fighting Glock for fourth place on the 58th lap, he could afford to settle for the six points that took his championship tally to 84 points, with Massa still on 77, Kubica 64 and Raikkonen 57. Equally, McLaren were able to move a point ahead of Ferrari in the constructors’ chase.

Thus Alonso scored his first win since Monza 2007 and Renault’s first since Japan 2006, and Rosberg scored his best-ever finish after a fine drive. Behind Glock, Vettel fended off Nick Heidfeld for fifth, and Coulthard and Kazuki Nakajima completed the points scorers.

Jenson Button was ninth for Honda ahead of an unhappy Heikki Kovalainen, who lost out badly in a first-lap brush with Kubica as they fought over fourth place; the Pole was 11th from Sebastien Bourdais, the deeply unhappy Massa and Fisichella. Raikkonen was classified 15th.

Trulli failed to finish with a mechanical problem, as did Webber; Barrichello ran out of fuel in his Honda, and Sutil and Piquet both crashed.

With far more overtaking than the drivers had predicted, Formula One’s first-ever night race packed in plenty of excitement, and was adjudged a great success.

Andhra CM YS Rajasekhara missing

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy has gone missing while on his way from Karnool to Chittoor. The Chief Minister was accompanied by his Principal Secretary S Subramanyam and Chief Security Officer ASC Wesley. There were two pilots also on board the twin-engined Bell 430 helicopter that lost contact at 0935 hrs IST with the Air Traffic Controller at the Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad when it was headed for Chittoor district, about 600 kilometres from Hyderabad.

There has been no contact with the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, whose helicopter has been missing since 9:30 am after he took off from Hyderabad this morning, Home Ministry sources here said. “There has been no no contact established with the helicopter,” sources in the ministry said. Seven Air Force choppers are looking for the CM and the govt has also requested people to help in the search.

YS Rajasekhara Reddy has gone missing while on his way from Kurnool to Chittoor. Due to bad weather Reddy’s helicopter made an emergency landing at Pamulapadu in Kurnool district.

Reports suggest that the helicopter has landed safely in Kurnool district but the chief minister’s whereabouts are still a mystery.

The helicopter lost contact with Air Traffic Controller at the Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad and since then there has not been any contact with the Chief Minister.

Some sources claimed that Reddy had been traced and taken to Kurnool guest house after a four-hour frantic search.

Andhra Pradesh Police is continuing a search for the missing chopper of Chief Minister Y.S. Rajshekhar Reddy.

According to police sources, a civilian copter has been pushed in to the search operation. nconfirmed reports said the Army has also joined the search operation.

Panic was created around Wednesday noon as Reddy was reported untraceable for nearly four hours.

Reddy was on his way to Chittor, by the chopper which initial reports said had made an emergency landing near Kurnool due to inclement weather.

The chopper took off at 8.45 a.m. for Chittor and was scheduled to arrive here at 10.45 a.m, sources said.

The chopper was said to have landed in the middle of thick forest, said to be affected by the Maoist activities.

The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) confirmed the receiving a message of the emergency landing of the chopper, but nothing thereafter.

Till now, no one has confirmed the movements of Reddy.

The Union Home Ministry is monitoring the search operations, as Kurnool is a Naxal affected area.

Air Traffic Control (ATC) sources said the chopper went off the radar due to heavy rains.

The CMO maintains there is no need to worry, as the area has no mobile connectivity.

Nayanthara is Dileep’s heroine!

Nayan is going to make a comeback to Malayalalam with this Siddique entertainer in which she has equal footing with Dileep. Remember that Nayanthara’s last film was opposite Mammootty in that family entertainer Raapakal which was a huge hit. Recently she sizzled in a song appearance in the blockbuster Twenty 20.

The ‘pooja’ and the shoot of the film will start in Kottayam on December 12.

The release date of the film produced by Johnny Sagarika has been fixed for Easter- Vishu on March 28, 2009.

Siddique is the best commercial film director ever in Malayalam. He was the brain behind the Siddique Lal combination of the late 80′s and 90′s.
