Indian Airlines Flight 814 was a flight that flew from Kathmandu, Nepal’s Tribhuvan International Airport to Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. It was hijacked on Christmas Eve, Friday, December 24, 1999, shortly after the aircraft entered Indian airspace at about 5:30 p.m. IST by five Pakistani nationals

Hijacked plane landed in Afghanistan, where the hijackers agreed to release their hostages in exchange for the release of 3 extremists.

On December 31, 1999, hostages were freed in exchange of three extremists. During their 173 hours of captivity, the passengers and the crew lived and re-lived, experienced and re-experienced many uncomfortable emotions.

Major Ravi will expose the behind-the-plot scenes in his film Kandahar.

Gajini or Ghajini – Aamir khan’s much awaited Ghajini hindi movie to release on December 25 2008. As per Buzz in Media, the Ghajini release date should be December 25, 2008, if everything goes well.

Ghajini hindi film is directed by A Murugadoss and is a remake of Tamil film Gajini in which Surya played the main role. As per media reports, Murugadoss is ready to re-shoot the some scenes suggested by Aamir Khan. But Aamir khan is busy with his new film with Kareena Kapoor – 3 Idiots.

So it may take another month to finish the Aamir Ghajini film and we hope it will be released on December 25, as stated by Aamir Khan.

Akshay Kumar’s new film Jumbo may be released on 18th December 2008, one week before Aamir Khan’s Ghajini. So, there will be some competition for Aamir Khan.
