Nokia N9 MeeGo Phone will be released on September 23

Not long back RockingTeam has published some aritcles about the upcoming smart phone from Nokia called Nokia N9 MeeGo. Today Nokia revealed that at least Sweden will get the Nokia N9 in 48 days. For now no other country got a release countdown on the Nokia N9 microsite.

Nokia E7 To Launch in December 2010

Nokia is all set to launch its new model Nokia E7 in December. Nokia E7 is a full QWERTY version of the N8, running Symbian^3 on a 4-inch AMOLED ClearBlack display. The Nokia E7 supports pentaband UMTS/WCMDA and so compatible with T-Mobile USA, AT&T and European 3G networks , it supports the same HDMI and USB On-The-Go connectivity as its N8 cousin. Nokia E7 has 8MP camera.

Release of Nokia N8 Officially Delayed to Meet the Preorders

Launching of Nokia N8 is officially delayed by the company. Not much delay, but only for a few weeks. Company has planned to release the Nokia N8 to market by the end of September and now it is pushed to the mid of October. Company explains this is because of the amount of preorders of Nokia N8 has gone beyond what they had expected.

Nokia released the following statement to Engadget yesterday.

“The amount of preorders has exceeded our expectations and we are working hard to deliver the Nokia N8 to the market. In some markets, we had planned to start delivering the Nokia N8s to our pre-order customers by the end of September. To ensure a great user experience, we have decided to hold the shipments for a few weeks to do some final amends. We’re thrilled with the response that we’ve had to the Nokia N8 and assure everyone who’ve pre-ordered it already that it’ll be worth the wait! We expect consumers to get their Nokia N8s during October.”

Nokia N9 MeeGo coming in December with 4 inch 1280*720 display, 64/1GB memory, 12Mp camera and HDMI. Screen resolution of 1280×720 would be the first “HD ready 720p” display in a smart-phone letting one view HD content without any rescaling.

Nokia N8 to Release on September 30, Pamela Anderson to Promote

Nokia N8 is ready to be on the markets. Since Nokia is loosing its grip in the smart phone section when competing with Apple’s iPhone and all other Android Phones, Nokia is trying its best with the upcoming Nokia N8. As we have reported earlier Nokia N8 is going to a real wonder among the Smart Phones .

Nokia N8 is packed with a 12 MP camera which is the big selling point for the N8 and Nokia plans to draw attention to it in a big way by hiring Pamela Anderson and Ed Westwick (of Gossip Girl fame) to star in a short movie shot entirely with the Nokia N8’s camera.

Two lucky fans will have a chance to play the main roles in the movie, dubbed The Commuter. Although the details about the script are scarce, one fan will partake in a bedroom scene with Pamela, while another will be in an elevator with Ed Westwick.

The short feature will be directed by the McHenry Brothers, who have just finished filming their first full-length animated movie, Jackboots on Whitehall, starring Ewan McGregor and Rosamund Pike.
