4G Brings Much Changes Than Just Speed

For Indians 3G is still a dream to realize. But most countries steps to implement 4G is going in full swing. 4G has much more speed than what we can imagine now. 4G will provide a speed of average 7Mbps. Is that all what 4G can provide? No this much speed on a mobile device can bring much changes in the way we use our mobile devices.

4G will mean more than just faster Web browsing, faster video/music/photo uploads and downloads. 4G speeds and the capabilities they enable will literally change our lives. Here are four ways 4G technology will change the way we use our phones.

  • Sharing Your Phone’s Connection Will Become Common

With much more internet speed and wide bandwidth, sharing your internet to your near ones will become a common thing. Your mobile device will become a mobile hot spot. Devices like iPad and other hand held devices using WiFi connection can utilize these mobile hot spots. 4G is supposed to be 10 times faster than 3G, with average throughput of anywhere from 3 to 10 Mbps.

  • 4G Will Make Your Home Connection Redundant

4G is capable of providing such faster internet connection which can replace your current Cable/DSL internet connection at Home. Most if you have Cable/DSL connections at home which provides faster internet connections than your current mobile internet connection. But with a minimum speed of 3Mbps provided by yout 4G mobile device, you don’t have to possess a separate DSL connection at your home for high speed internet

  • The Emergence of Live Monitoring

Various fields like telehealth which requires live monitoring of several sensors will become common in use. Along with 4G networks, all manner of new sensors are coming to help monitor your body. Everything that a doctor needs you to come to the office to check will be able to be monitored remotely and transmitted via 4G to your doctor. Sensors can be built into stuff you already wear — glasses, belt buckles, watches, bras, jewelry — to send constant body signals to your doctor (or, more likely, some kind of medical computer).

  • Video Chatting

The big new feature of iPhone 4 is FaceTime, Apple’s version of mobile video chatting. iPhone 4 users will be able to use it only on Wi-Fi to start, and the reason for that is obvious: the feature would quickly choke 3G networks. Video chatting over 4G is now a reality. Besides video chatting, the killer app may be virtual-reality gaming, raising narcissistic self-absorption to new heights.

Is that all? No not at all, these are just the small changes. To know the real changes we must have to wait for the world wide launch .
