The purpose of this cell processor is to manage tasks like hardware HD video decode, transcode etc. where as the other processor is Intel Core 2 Duo Processor. For enhancing the graphics and improving the performance, this laptop is embedded with an NVDIA GeForce 9600M graphics processor. This processor helps in smooth handling of videos and it helps users in playing games in an exceptional fashion. The memory of this laptop is also huge. It has a 4GB of DDR2 800 standard memory. For supporting the gaming effects an additional Turbo Cache is also embedded in this laptop.

Toshiba’s new satellite model(Satellite 500D) is also available with AMD Turion X2 ultra Dual core processor .

Other specifications of Satellite A500 include an optional 8GB RAM and 500 GB HDD or 64 GB SSD, 1 GB ATI Radeon HD graphics card and an inbuilt DVB-T digital TV tuner. The Satellite A500 notebook Pc also comes with a Multi-Touch touch pad,Harman Kardon Stereo speakers,DVD multi burner and a 5 in 1 card reader.

The new Satellite A500 notebook pc will be available from toshiba stores by the end of this july and there is no news regarding the pricing of the notebook.

The Stylish Toshiba NB200 is powered by 1.6 GHz Intel atom N280 processor and is also equipped with  160 Gb HDD,2 GB ram,0.3MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and is preloaded with Windows Xp.The NB200 has up to 9 hours battery life, Integrated mobile broaband, Extra large touchpad and embedded wireless LAN.

The Toshiba Mini NB200 is available in the Europe from May 2009, at a starting price of £319.

Toshiba NB100 and Satellite A350

toshiba-nb100-netbookToshiba launched two new notebooks-NB100 and Satellite A350.With these notebooks,toshiba is expanding integrated Mobile Broadband into its consumer notebook range The updated NB100 and A350 gets embedded support for HSPA wireless broadband offering data rates of up to 7.2 Mbps in the downlink and up to 2.0 Mbps in the uplink.

Toshiba’s NB100 is the company’s netbook model powered by Intel Atom 1.6Ghz processor. It comes with a 1GB of memory and a 8.9-inch display.Toshiba Satellite A350 series is powered by Intel’s Core 2 Duo processors, up to 4GB of RAM and up to 320GB hard drive. It has either integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD or ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 graphics.

Toshiba NB100 and Satellite A350 will be available throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa in Q1 2009.There is no reports about the price of the notebooks.

Toshiba creates a different looking cell phone, Toshiba G450. It is not an ordinary product but it’s an extra ordinary product that can be used as a phone, as a Modem and as a MP3 player. Toshiba G450 is a small device that possesses the ability to perform various functions.

Toshiba G450 weighs 57 grams and has 96 x 36 pixels OLED display. The phone supports music formats like MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+. It’s larger than the usual USB modem and it incorporates a dual rotary-layout keypad on one side and a screen. The phone equips power switch/rocker and volume rockers that are the navigation keys which are very

The user can simply plug Toshiba G450 to the USB port to get access to web, emails or office networks. The user can also make and receive calls and simultaneously stay connected to the internet. It can also be used as an USB memory storage device that supports storage capacity up to 160 MB. Its battery life offers talk time up to 140 minutes and stand by time up to 200 hours.

Toshiba G450 phone will be available in three colors, Black, Red and White.

Toshiba Qosimo X305-Q706 and X305-Q708 come with two GeForce 9800M GTS cards in SLI configuration, plus a GeForce 9400M.

Some people were surprised when Apple announced that its new Macbooks could come with two Nvidia GPUs, but that’s nothing compared to what Toshiba has just announced. The company’s latest Qosimo laptops come with three GPUs, and they’re set up in a sensible configuration too.

These laptops come with an integrated GeForce 9400M for quiet day-to-day work on battery power, and then have a pair of GeForce 9800M GTS cards in SLI mode that can kick in when you need fast 3D frame rates. Apple was the first company to announce that it was using Nvidia’s new GeForce 9400M GPU when it launched its new MacBooks last month.

The GPU has just 16 stream processors clocked at 1.4GHz as standard, with a 580MHz GPU core clock. It might not be very powerful when it comes to running Crysis, but it has enough power to enable Aero glass effects in Windows Vista, and it hardly matters when you have an SLI setup waiting in the wings.

The GeForce 9800M GTS features 64 stream processors, so it’s not as powerful as your average GeForce 9800 desktop GPU, but a pair of them should be able to make these laptops veritable gaming machines. It’s also interesting to see a high-profile company such as Toshiba taking a big interest in the gaming laptop industry, similarly to Dell and HP, to the point where it’s installing three GPUs. It’s also worth noting that the three GPUs could also help to speed up the laptop when running GPGPU apps.

The Qosimo X305-Q706 costs $1,999 US (£1,257) in the US, although we haven’t seen any UK pricing on the laptops yet. The system comes with a 2.2GHz Core 2 Duo P8400 and 4GB of RAM, while the costlier X305-Q708 comes with a quad-core 2.53GHz Core 2 Extreme QX9300 CPU.
